Fractured Time

Fractured time focuses on the construction and deconstruction of fabricated realities. Working like a painter, I merge individual elements to create surreal and ethereal visual narratives. I composite images from multiple moments in time to create pictures that challenge how photographs are made and function as pictures. These tableaus question the static notion of time in a photograph and the insistence that photographs are necessarily transcriptions of reality.
